I thought Ulric might be interested in something like this.
Ulric is interested in this video, but didn't see it in the "New Posts" listing. Ulric recommends using PMs as notification to watch something.
To the video: They don't make them like they used to. I don't agree with all of it, of course, and the rhetoric used is exactly that which the media of the last 40 years has endlessly mocked, or should I say Lugenpresse?
What I find most interesting about this film is that the backdrop, a reasonably decorated office, is now an anachronism. Also, that this was made in 1969-1970, before the worst parts of LBJ's handiwork had hit. His actual words, well, in the 1850s, the newspapers, far more expensive in PPP terms than now, ran multiple page transcripts of the Lincoln-Douglas (Senate) Debates, and the average reader was presumed to be willing to read them. The Victorians, in the first rush of pulp rag paper, were more literate than the target audience of this video, which far exceeds the effective literacy of even Bachelor Degree Graduates today.
@UlricKerensky and @Apercus, users can also be alerted using the "at" symbol like so.

Are you sure that wasn't "Unread posts"?
Unread should show items new to you in threads or forums you watch.
New posts should be global, perhaps excluding ignores.
It didn't alert me on that one, it did say I was quoted, so that might have superseded. I forgot what the character set was for that option.
I probably missed it on the top 5 new posts that day.
