Could someone explain what are the temporal bones and their function? I stll don't know much how to identify them, examples of persons with big ones would be good. You guys seen to talk a lot about it, so i'm curious.
Starchildren - catch them all - sidebar discussion | https://www.xen.altrugenics.com/xf/index.php?threads/starchildren-catch-them-all-sidebar-discussion.709/ Starchildren part 2, behavior | https://aeolipera.wordpress.com/2016/07/10/starchildren-part-2-behavior/ Inidividuals with enlarged temporal lobes are referred to as starchildren, the name deriving from the extraterrestial research project of one Lloyd Pye. These should be a decent starting point. I believe you mean to inquire about lobes, not bones. Basic function is sound processing, memory, and emotion. Basic behavior is empathetic small group formation, anti-hierarchy. It should be noted that not all lateral mass is temporal. The frontal can also protrude laterally. The distinction is a matter of some debate.
