Use tags to highlight commonalities between threads. Do not corrupt known terms. If you invent your own tags, you may define their use until they achieve wider acceptance. If you have a contrarian interpretation of an established term, then prepend your initials to the tag to identify it as your unique take. E.g., I will tag my todo items "k-todo". Prepending makes all your tags easily searchable. (In theory, not tested.) Avoid ambiguity. Non-staff should use two-letter initials. A Baron reserves the tag namespace beginning with his hall's initials. Global tag rules do not apply to baronial namespaces.
