Kim Jong Il (very en bombe cranium):

Over on the Apricity, Memoire has claimed that Kim Jong Il's brain scans showed that he has the largest brain volume ever measured, however, I haven't been able to find those documents to verify that for myself. Looking at the picture of him with Bill Clinton and Putin, it does seem that his head was quite enormous, though

Putin's head isn't all that big. Not impossible.

Hopkins is technically avgtemp, so I'm breaking my own rule, but he's such a good example that he's going here.

    I think Lenin might qualify.

Leon Trotsky. Couldn't find any decent profile pics.

His feud with Stalin seems like a classic archetypal example of Melon/Starchild dynamic.

Perhaps we should distinguish between those with starchild-esque physiognomy and the subset who might reasonably be suspected of descending from a starchild lineage.

Similarly, not all people with tall skulls may be descended from arch-melonhead lines.

This woman might meet the measurements but I wouldn't go digging in her family tree for ET.

Those classified as SC because of their lattemporals aren't good candidates for "ET" descend either - since the actual skull labelled "starchild" had different bulges (higher and more dorsal) than the temporal bulges usually referred to as SC.

That's another reason to drop this outdated name.

Most wide skulls are going to be either T-back or M-back. Typing all wide skulls as SC is a type 1 error.

The relevant parameter is not skull width, it's the ratio of skull width just above the ears to face width at ear level. Even that may not be fully accurate, given that Sx faces tend to have lateralized zygomatic arches (this is distinct from flaring zygomas).

@Vejiortan Sans spidermelon what name would you propose?

I find it hilarious that the literal OG communist isn't SC enough for Aeoli.

    Dead ringer for Simon Pegg.

An important factor here is distance from camera- temporals tend to be wedge shaped, meaning that close up pics will minimize their appearance.

Oraon Scott Card. Technically dualback but rather archetypal SS.

Good parallel between Card and Lenin.

Shows up in writeprint. Starchild confirmed.

Yes, your critique ages back that Card's writing sucks because he is each of his characters is telling (other observations welcome).

That baby pic is certainly indicative, but the older pics do not show temps. This doesn't mean she isn't SS- temporals are infuriatingly variant from picture to picture to a higher degree than occ/par.

This is the only adult pic I could find that supports temps. She seems to wear her hair in such a way as to conceal them.
    Edit:

This pic is strongly indicative but not definitive.
