I'm beginning to think the word "normal" is the most unappreciated workhorse in the English language. So much nuance and meaning packed into six letters! It almost deserves its own novella. On the one hand it means "Gaussian", on the other it means average, on the other it means conventional, on the other it means moral, on the other it means lacking disqualifiers, on the other it means conforming to historical selection bias. And sometimes all those hands at once! In all cases we see it means one shape fits within another for lack of "disqualities".

Have you considered a 23andme DNA test? It will tell you if you have any traces of neanderthal DNA. Also, if you upload some head photos to this site: SLiMG - Upload and Share | http://sli.mg/ or another of your choosing (front view, side view, and a 90 degree angle front view) I am sure some members here would give you their opinion on your phrenology. Or you can PM a link direct to someone who reads a lot of skulls in the big face-reading thread perhaps. If you have a Thal back and front (known around here as TT) You'd have an occipital bump and deep eye sockets. There are other variations too.

It seems quite anti-Thal in its bias. Homo Sapiens invented everything, Thals just copied. It also strongly suggests cannibalism: Bones from Abri Moula in France show cut marks typical of butchery rather than simple ritual defleshing. The marks were also like those on the bones of roe deer, assumed to be food, found in the same shelter. The cave of El Sidron in Spain yielded hundreds of Neanderthal bones with cut marks, deliberate breaks for marrow extraction, and other signs that the bodies had been butchered for flesh in the same way as animals. It would of course not be PC to mention that Thals may have been eaten by their Homo Sapiens genociders would it. Poor Thals, such a loss.
Correct. Anyway, I believe most here are educated enough to determine what's biased, and what is true and not true. We can sort the wheat from the chaff.
