To reduce ambiguity, here is a style guide for how to refer to the different layers of this site.

Altrugx is a forum with a dual structure. It is partly unfederated tribal baronies, and partly imperial Rome. These former may be referred to as "the baronies". I am undecided on the best name for the latter. Some ideas: "the topical zone", "the provinces", "the empire".

Baronies are led by barons, who rule without interference. Membership is by mutual consent of the baron and the governed. Organization is by identity. This may be defined as either sympathy with a charismatic leader, or possession of certain physiognomic traits. Individuals may belong to multiple baronies, or none.

The imperial, civilized world consists of provinces organized by topic. Standard internet best practices such as clarity and organization are enforced, minus the SJW thought-policing. I am the emperor, and appoint governors according to specialization and ability.

Thus Altrugx's top-level structure looks like this:
    Baronies
    Personal
    Typed
    Topical

Each barony or province has four halls: Native, Visa, Typed, Public.

Halls may be subdivided into rooms for greater organization.

Since this is a new framework, I am open to amendments.

My first try was pretty bad, so here's a total rewrite.
