New 23andMe Neanderthal metric - suspicious shenanigans

I went from 90th percentile under the old system (suspiciously high) to 22nd percentile under the new system (suspiciously low).

68% is one hell of an error margin.

I hear Gedmatch is better but haven't figured all that out.

I'd be willing to share my genetic data if I could figure out how. The NSA already has it, so why not?

 

I'm not sure whether I'm on the old or new? When did it change?
I just had a look, and my percentile is unchanged anyway (59th, winning), so I assume I went straight in on the new system.

 

The new system has the count of your Neanderthal genes.

Old one just gave a percentage and a percentile.

 

I must still be on the old one then, I couldn't find anything new last night.

 

I went from 89th percentile to 61st.

Yes, I am still deliberately insinuating targeted malicious intent where none probably exists. Although all those brown guys with 0% Neanderthal might've been a problem they decided to rectify.

Maybe they decided to obfuscate the matter by making the total percentage illegibly fudged, and then focusing on a smaller subset of identified SNPs which are far less effective for purposes of racial discrimination, and meaninglessly pedantic in effect. Like reducing the resolution on a competitor's mp3 until the music is no longer compelling.

 

I'm neither competent to evaluate the science, nor privy to the intra-office politics.

We have suspicion of a hate crime. It's like anudda Shoah!

Time to go public, and cast a wider net.

Mine's at 67% on the new system. I don't have experience with the old one. I suspected they were measuring "junk" DNA with that metric rather than anything accurate or meaningful. The entire site is wonky. They include Ashkenazi under European instead of West Asian despite acknowledging in the description that Ashkenazis are genetically more similar to other Jewish groups than Europeans. They also don't show CYP or MTHFR mutations in the health report because they say scientific data doesn't support the claims that those SNPs affect health, and I suspect that people with a higher amount of neanderthal DNA are more likely to have those mutations specifically. CYPs relate to the body's ability to metabolize medications and MTHFR to the body's ability to metabolize B vitamins.

 

Is this the one you are still talking about? The highest on 23andme is someone with 397!

I saw some frenchie documentaries on surdoué kids, which literally translates into over-gifted, which will translate into major problems if we are dealing with a sape injected with CRISPR-synthetic genes. Imagine a sape shooting up Thalbile into his shithole @ le gym. Not good, funny side effects. Also, words change their meaning depending on context now pair this with sapes never meaning anything with what they say = autistic people suffer even more = better do some math and solve some rubiks cubes to avoid an emotional breakdown.
But, honestly, what happens if the fucking gene-company says that you or your child is an alien? Sapes aren't into the business of problem solving and normies don't want to know anything complex, which is then dishonest if they are acting like they want to solve a problem or study one. Not even once.


This is the problems with dna-tests and lack of metrics of useful metrics, then again that full-test sells for 1000dollers and you have to be your own autist, these basic-tests will tell you if you are fathers son and if you have a secret twin and where you probably came from and that you can inherit money from your dead uncle in America.

They are real but only if you are a real person, for most it is a funny thing and if you take it seriously they will think you are actually as odd as the test says. And you might be.
