One for me: When using ExpressVPN with Chrome, I cannot log in. Firefox works fine.

 

There's a box for adding tags to threads, but I do not have permissions to do so.

 

PEBKAC error. Fixed.

You had permission to tag your own threads, but since no tags existed yet, that was useless. I raised your permissions to global tagging oversight for forums you mod.

The idea with tags is to be informative, consistent, and non-redundant.

 

There is a check box when signing in that would allow the device to be trusted for 30 days.
I've checked it a few times in the past 2 days, but at most logins I still get emailed the verification code.
Minor thing though.

 

I have this issue as well, but I assumed it was due to proxies. Are you sure you're using the same browser and computer?

 

Yes, I may not be sure what day it is quite often, but I know my PC.

 

I'll open a separate thread for the excessive relogins bug.

Just fixed a systemic permissions error I made that allowed all mods to interfere with each other's zones.

Definitely still in beta.

 

First time using the site away from home on my phone, and I was able to log on without the two step email authentication.
Otherwise mobile works ok, except I spotted a Koanic typo, can't be a real typo surely.

 

Does the other browser on your phone have this problem?

 

Can anyone reproduce this problem? Does it occur across all themes? Cannot reproduce in iPhone Safari.

 

In VJ style, the search text doesn't show up in the search dialog.

Illustration: on the left is default style. Works fine. On the right is VJ style. Note that there's no visible search text, even though I've typed the same thing (evidenced by the text completion dialog.)

Same issue on both Firefox and Chrome.

 

I was wondering how long it would take until this problem becomes apparent. Not easy to solve. It seems that the text colour cant be changed without changing other colours as well (I tested that).

 

I have no intent or ability to address the style issue.

The login issues should be fixed now that SSL is enabled.

It's a Xenforo limitation. Free to leave must be set globally. Therefore has to be set to "no" to enforce local bans.

My elaborate permissions scheme stretches Xenforo's limits.

Not a big deal, just requires mod intervention.

 

For some reason I am unable to see the image in this post, or even a link. I am using firefox on a windows PC.

 

Not reproducible.
